Is Wii Fit fun?
If the answer to the above question is yes, then Wii Fit spells doom for gym memberships across the world, as Nintendo, its manufacturer would hope. But far from engaging in a debate as to whether fun and fitness are/are not mutually exclusive, Wii Fit makes a good attempt combining both fun and effectiveness. The fun part involves simple things like choosing a personal trainer. Here, you even have the option of choosing a man or a woman. So if you do not like Frank Lampard’s face (his face appears as one of the trainers in some consoles) you can choose someone else.
Wii Fit uses Mii characters, and when one is performing aerobics, you use the board as a step and this may involve running through the park with other characters throwing hooplas at you. And in case you are attentive, you might spot Hitler among the characters in the pack waving at you or throwing hoops at you. Well, that might be as just scary as it might be fun.
Many other fun games are involved, like skiing, heading footballs (to help with the balancing) all from the comfort of you living room. With so many games embedded in the console, it generates enough fun for those committed well enough to try out a different game in each work out, and such people may end up loosing some body fat as well.
